Muriel Barnéoudre takes over the presidency of Syntec Numérique’s Collège éditeurs as of today, with the intention of continuing Bruno’s actions and battles:

  • recruit new digital publishers and continue to adapt Syntec Numérique’s service offerings to their characteristics and needs (start-up affiliation offers, etc.).
  • continue efforts to enable software publishers to absorb the impact of new business models (MoneySaaS, etc.)
  • enable members to get to grips with the world of connected objects, Big Data and security.

But also to enable our members to meet the challenges of the digital age and put in place levers to adapt to this transformation.

“Bruno has contributed enormously to the recognition of the software publishing profession and to the development of Syntec Numérique, which now counts 650 software publishers (nearly half of Syntec Numérique’s members). He imagined and conceived major events that have become benchmarks for the French ecosystem (Top250, Syntec Camp), as well as a monthly barometer on major themes,” comments Bruno.  Guy Mamou-Mani, Chairman of Syntec Numérique. At my request, Bruno will shortly be proposing to our Board of Directors, of which he remains an active member, a plan dedicated to digital start-ups in addition to monitoring the projects he initiated, such as employee shareholding.”

“For personal and professional reasons, I am stepping down as Chairman of the Publishers’ College to devote myself to other tasks that call to me. I will remain a very active member of Syntec Numérique, of which I am still a director, and will continue to defend the interests of publishers. We have made the voice of publishers heard loud and clear, and I hope they now feel fully represented.  Bruno Vanryb. I’m very committed to the issues of employee share ownership and start-ups, and I’m delighted to be able to think about ways of improving the conditions in which start-ups can develop”.
