On Thursday, March 14, 2019, the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region and 15 players from the digital world, including Syntec Numérique, signed the Protocole d’accord pour la mixité, l’emploi des femmes et la formation dans la filière du numérique in Lyon.
Digital transformation is profoundly changing the way we design, produce, communicate and collaborate in all sectors. Understanding this issue and its many impacts is becoming a central challenge for the competitiveness of economic players, and for the ability of local authorities to support them.
With this in mind, the signatories are participating in an action plan based on three objectives:
- Better guidance for young girls and women in work or undergoing professional retraining;
- Train women to acquire skills adapted to current and future business needs;
- Communicate more effectively on these digital professions by improving the representations conveyed or perceived.
Each signatory member also undertakes to carry out the following missions:
- Implement concrete actions that meet the objectives described in Article 1. In appendix 1, the actions already committed for the first quarter of 2019 with the support of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region;
- Produce an annual report on the actions undertaken and the number of beneficiaries reached by this action plan;
- Propose new actions for the 2019-2021 period.
