Véronique Torner, first woman to be elected President of Numeum

A l’heure où le numérique est un levier majeur de transformation, Véronique Torner, première femme élue à la tête de l’organisation pour un mandat de trois ans, entend accélérer l’impact de Numeum, catalyseur de l’écosystème numérique en France.
Au sein d’un collectif fort, Véronique Torner se fixe trois grands axes prioritaires :
- Les territoires : ancrer Numeum au cœur des territoires au plus près des acteurs économiques en renforçant notre proximité avec ses adhérents et en capitalisant sur le maillage de ses 12 délégations régionales;
- Les compétences : en s’appuyant sur les entreprises et les associations, répondre pleinement aux enjeux de compétences numériques en France, en favorisant un programme de formation initiale cohérent avec les besoins du marché, avec une contribution à l’inclusion des talents par la formation continue et la reconversion;
- Le numérique responsable : accompagner et soutenir le développement d’un écosystème numérique dans une trajectoire d’impact positif sur le plan économique, social, sociétal et environnemental à l’échelle européenne, nationale et locale.

An entrepreneurial background, a vision in touch with reality
Entrepreneur and member of the Smile group’s comex, Véronique Torner is the founder of PlanetTech’Care, aplatform that brings together companies and training providers wishing to make a commitment to reducing the environmental footprint of digital technology with a network of partners, experts in digital technology and the environment, and organizes theGreen Tech Forumtrade show, the next edition of which will be held on November 21 and 22, 2023.

In parallel with this appointment, Numeum’s Board of Directors was renewed. Eight directors were appointed at Numeum’s Annual General Meeting on June 7: Olivier Cazzulo (Netsystem), Xavier Côte de Soux (Capgemini), Virginie Fauvel (Harvest Groupe), Beatrice Kosowski (IBM France), Charles Mauclair (Groupe SII), Gilles Mezari (Saaswedo), Galliane Touze (Berger-Levrault), Antoine Wattinne (Cegid).
