{"id":22237,"date":"2024-04-04T09:47:45","date_gmt":"2024-04-04T09:47:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/preprod25.numeum.fr\/etudes\/ai-for-green-green-ai\/"},"modified":"2025-05-29T11:04:16","modified_gmt":"2025-05-29T11:04:16","slug":"ai-for-green-green-ai","status":"publish","type":"etudes","link":"https:\/\/preprod25.numeum.fr\/en\/etudes\/ai-for-green-green-ai\/","title":{"rendered":"AI for Green &amp; Green AI"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"align wp-block-texte\">\n                                    <p>In this new study on <strong>frugal AI<\/strong> and<strong>AI serving the ecological transition<\/strong>, based on <u>testimonials from 72 professionals from 45 different organizations<\/u>, we share with you a representative snapshot of where companies in France stand, and put forward a whole series of recommendations for seizing these challenges as quickly as possible.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>One of these recommendations is the development and adoption of a culture of eco-design and eco-consumption:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Strategic debate:<\/strong> elevate the discussion on ecology and AI to management level and make it a pillar of corporate strategy.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Training and awareness:<\/strong> set up regular training courses for managers and employees on the environmental and economic benefits of Green AI and AI for Green, highlighting successful use cases and industry best practices.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Ecodesign: <\/strong>integrating ecodesign into the life cycle of all the company&#8217;s products and services.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Eco-consumption :<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Encourage AI use that asks \u201cdo I really need it?\u201d before launching new projects.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Educate and equip consumers and end-users to understand their environmental impact when using AI.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Promote the concept of \u201cless but better\u201d technology use among users.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Encourage the development and adoption of AI technologies that maximize benefits while minimizing energy consumption and waste.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Implement impact assessment methodologies: adopt tools and methodologies to assess the environmental impact of AI projects right from the design stage.
