Nevertheless, internationalization remains a challenge for French startups, and for some small and medium-sized digital companies, particularly in terms of HR. <\/p>\n<p>Key figures to remember:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>34,000: Number of digital start-ups, VSEs and SMEs in 2023 ;<\/li>\n<li>325,700: Number of jobs in digital start-ups, VSEs and SMEs in 2023;<\/li>\n<li>35,500: Number of jobs created by digital start-ups, VSEs and SMEs abroad in 2023 ;<\/li>\n<li>55,500: Number of jobs in international digital start-ups, VSEs and SMEs in 2028.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Against this backdrop, Numeum contributed to a study carried out by the Observatoire des m\u00e9tiers du num\u00e9rique, de l&#8217;ing\u00e9nierie, du conseil et de l&#8217;\u00e9v\u00e8nement (OPIIEC):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Identify the scope of international development for digital startups, VSEs and SMEs;<\/li>\n<li>Take stock of the situation and prospects for job creation linked to the international development of the digital industry;<\/li>\n<li>Identify the obstacles and motivations to international development for companies in the digital sector;<\/li>\n<li>Measure the impact of international development on jobs and skills in the Digital sector;<\/li>\n<li>Draw up recommendations to support the international development of digital companies.
