In a tense political climate, Numeum takes to the stage at the France 2025 entrepreneurs’ meetings (Ref), organized by the Mouvement des Entreprises de France (Medef): digital is not just another sector. It is the vital infrastructure of the European economy. Growth, employment, strategic autonomy: everything depends on it. And despite the economic slowdown, it continues to show solid momentum, driven by job creation and its role as a catalyst for innovation. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n

AI, quantum, cybersecurity: Europe’s survival at stake<\/h2>\n\n

The artificial intelligence revolution, quantum breakthroughs, geopolitical tensions: the equation is clear, Europe must invest massively in the technologies of tomorrow. Failing to do so, we’ll fall behind. For Numeum, competitiveness and resilience go hand in hand: cybersecurity and reduced technological dependency are now survival requirements. <\/p>\n\n

Taxation: don’t sabotage innovation<\/h2>\n\n

Two tools are the focus of much attention: the Research Tax Credit(CIR<\/a>) and the Young Innovative Company (JEI) status. These are the mainstays of private R&D, enabling French start-ups and scale-ups to stay in the global race. But beyond that, they are calling for fiscal stability. Entrepreneurs remind us that innovation is a long-term process. Not budgetary improvisation. <\/p>\n\n

Digital as a team sport<\/h2>\n\n

Numeum is convinced that to disperse is to weaken. The time has come to play collectively. Pooling resources, scaling up, building bridges between sectors. From the “Tour de France de l’IA” to the “Osez l’IA” plan, the objective is clear: cross worlds to accelerate adoption and carry more weight. <\/p>\n\n

In June 2025, the organization took a further step forward with the creation of the\u00c9quipe de France du Num\u00e9rique<\/a>: a common banner to federate a rich but sometimes too fragmented ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n

If France is to play a leading role in Europe, it must invest without hesitation in breakthrough technologies. But money alone won’t suffice: we also need to simplify standards, use public procurement as a lever to support European solutions, and secure supply chains as strategic as those for semiconductors. <\/p>\n\n

Seize the opportunity<\/h2>\n\n

At REF, one thing is clear: digital technology is at the forefront of transitions, but it is still moving forward with a number of obstacles in its path – insufficient adoption, shortage of talent.<\/p>\n\n

The Draghi report calls for massive investment. All that remains is to turn intentions into decisions. The opportunities are there, but they won’t present themselves twice. As V\u00e9ronique Torner reminds us: ” 2025 is a match point. It’s up to us not to let it slip away. <\/em> “<\/p>\n\n
