Back to school under pressure: Numeum in action to protect your interests<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Political instability, budgetary debates, trade tensions… This autumn opens in an uncertain context. One thing is certain: our companies need visibility and stability to invest, recruit and innovate. <\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n

That’s why Numeum is on the bridge, in constant contact with public decision-makers, to take your priorities to where the rules of the game are set.<\/p>\n\n

EU \/ USA: avoid escalation, protect your contracts<\/h2>\n\n

At the end of July, Numeum represented the voice of digital companies at government meetings on the EU-US trade agreement, alongside the main economic organizations.<\/p>\n\n

The aim is to avoid overbidding on digital services, which would undermine your exports, your international projects and your value chains.<\/p>\n\n

=> We argued for a clear course: stability, predictability, investment protection. A voice of reason in a changing climate. <\/p>\n\n

Public procurement: greater clarity and access for our companies<\/h2>\n\n

More than ever, public procurement is at the heart of the digital transformation challenges facing our country. That’s why our sector needs visibility on public policies, so that it can join in and adapt its value propositions. The State’s digital suite, digital healthcare … we have identified a number of topics. In particular, we opened a dialogue with DINUM a few months ago. This initial phase was also accompanied by meetings with the CSF, the DGE and Cigref. Now it’s time to take a stand on the need for clarity and coherence to combine efficiency, sovereignty and support for the industry. <\/p>\n\n

Starting this autumn, Numeum will be stepping up its focus on the role of the public sector in relation to the private sector, the coherence of public action, simplification, access to markets for innovative SMEs\/ETIs, and clearer rules, in order to smooth relations and open up concrete opportunities for our members.<\/p>\n\n

As we were reminded at the MEDEF REF<\/a>, stability is a prerequisite. Numeum will continue to work to ensure that France does not fall behind, and that our companies can create jobs, growth and investment for the future. <\/p>\n\n

Taxation of innovation – PLF 2026<\/h2>\n\n

CIR, CII, JEI… These schemes are not privileges: they are essential levers for supporting R&D, investment and employment.<\/p>\n\n

Against a backdrop of tight public finances, <\/strong>the PLF 2026 (draft finance law) will determine the revenues and expenditure of the State budget.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

In this context, we are defending useful and proven measures to maintain the attractiveness of innovation in France: the Research Tax Credit (CIR), the Innovation Tax Credit (CII), the Young Innovative Company (JEI), and so on. Sanctioning these schemes is key to enabling companies to plan, recruit and invest. If we go back on these measures, we run the risk of discouraging investment in our country, at a time when France needs to accelerate its R&D efforts. <\/p>\n\n
